The rumor was true, I have created a video for Even Fail, the original song by myself and the inimitable David Husted.
Using Microsoft’s ClipChamp, and freely available video clips, it has ended as up, what someone has dubbed, a “Mood Board.”
Thanks are due to David Husted for his support (and giving me free reign on this part of the project) and to Lauren Bejzak and David DeFord for reviewing and offering constructive criticism to tighten it up and make it more effective.

I was told by a family member that I may have channeled Colin Moulding a bit with my vocals – high praise for someone who may be a bit of a fan of XTC. 😉
I love the whole song – a true collaboration, but when Dave and I worked on the bridge, it was pure joy and it makes me a smile each time I hear it.

David Husted and I started creating music together somewhere towards the end of our college days. While we are both members of The Get-Up, our side projects as a duo have always been brewed with a certain magic.

It was with great anticipation that I journeyed to his home studio this past Friday to renew that collaboration and wake those spirits.
The resulting track will be our first “official” co-release. Now in mixing and mastering, it has us singing and playing a song that uniquely represents our shared musical impulses.
