  1. Beastie Boys – Intergalactic
They have that great, classic cadence. An enjoyable track with all the familiar tricks pulled from their sleeves.

Martha Davis – Tell It to the Moon
Oh, that voice. The production is of a time. Hits a sweet spot of memory for me. Pair with “I Drove All Night.”

  2. “Intergalactic”/Beasties. Good beat, lyrics fun enough. Agree with Ed about “familiar tricks”; they were familiar to me, and I don’t even know that much of their stuff!

“Tell It to the Moon” / Martha Davis. Late of The Motels. I always liked her husky voice. This is ok, if a bit generic.

  3. B-Boys – They have come a long way from there old school punk rock ways to their hip-hop rap phase. Nobody does it like them. I have enjoyed them every step of the way.

Martha D – Not familiar with Martha Davis, Very mid to late 80’s sounding. Has some familiar tones that I can’t put my finger on. Almost like the Go-Go’s when they went more pop than punk. Very reminiscent of other female artists who went solo. not a bad jam.

  4. “Intergalactic” by Beastie Boys: I’ll stir fry you in my wok. This song is sufficiently odd and fun. Felt like I was in a Ultra Man episode. State of the Art Special FX too. Arrived at that signature Beastie Boy sound at about 1:15 in. Enjoyed the robot ride despite the bumps.

“Tell It to the Moon”by Martha Davis: Wow…I remember this song now. Very cool to hear it again. Love it. Of a certain time and place to my ears for sure…..and it brought me back with a smile.
