  1. Dan Mangan – Troubled Mind
Never hoid of ‘im. Engaging. Minimal. Reminiscent of Feelies. Driving. I like the layered vocals in the bridge. Thumbs up.

Robert Klein – Woo Hoo (I Can’t Stop My Leg)
I had totally forgotten about this and am curious if it will spark my memory as I can’t remember how it goes. On listening, it does seem familiar. On watching, the timing is pretty crisp and I like it when he nearly breaks, but works in the “Help him” thrown in from the piano player. Nicely done.
[Aside: I liked him in the movie Two Weeks Notice]

  2. “Troubled Mind”/Mangan. Like it. Ed’s Feelies comparison is apt. More perennially topical sentiments. “What the hell is wrong with everybody right now?” (I know we don’t comment on videos, but this one was quite clever. Note to self: Cancel unitard order.)

“Can’t Stop My Leg”/Robert Klein. I vaguely recall this from it was the ’70s I assume. He was a pretty good comic. The premise here reminds me a bit of Eddie Murphy’s James Brown “hot tub” bit. An amusing li’l spoof.

  3. “Woo Hoo (I Can’t Stop My Leg)” by Robert Klein: I do remember this and it is indeed a hilarious classic. He is actually a decent singer…holds key at least.
