  1. MA – seems muddled, maybe the recording? or it was meant to be this way. Something doesn’t sit well with me. Feels a little thrown together.

EC – some nice 60’s California vibe going on.

  2. “August Rain”/Murray Attaway. Lives up to the ominous (literal) atmospherics evoked by the intro storm sounds. That’s one slow fade-in for the instruments. Can I say, “Attaway, Murray!”?

  3. Murray Attaway – August Rain
A thick and layered sound – lost in this rain this morning. Reminds me a bit of Los Lobos and am happy to be listening.

    Eddie Cochran – Nervous Breakdown
In that same groove as Summertime Blues. Love that nervous/manic laugh that he works into the phrasing. A real toe-tapper. Points for getting “tither” in there.
[Aside] Is he looking like George Clooney in that picture or is it just me?

  4. “August Rain” by Murray Attaway
Is has a cool lazy swagger to it. His voice seems familiar but I can not place it at the moment. This song is fine….waiting for a moment where it would grab me but never arrived…..Feels like a middle of the album type song……

“Nervous Breakdown” by Eddie Cochran: Very Elvis. I feel my lip curling up and my legs going into the signature hip swing dance. Enjoyed….made me smile.
