Everclear. This album is most likely in my top 10 most played albums. Every song is excellent and I never get tired of it.
Might be a neat side hustle, name one album that you can listen to over and over again and never get tired of. We can then track down and listen on our own. Every song on the album is excellent (You dont skip any)
“Normal Like You”/everclear. I know only a little of their stuff, but they do have an agreeably janky guitar sound married to a good sense of a hook. Second straight week with a pick about psychotropic drugs. A riposte to the idea that normalcy should be normative. “Normal” is an insult!
Everclear- I like the dystonic, rhythmic opening of this one. I only know one or two of their other songs and recognize the little twists in the lead singer’s voice from them. Ian’s review makes me want to listen to the album. Very 90’s guitar sound my ears. There is also a shade of Cracker in there.
“Normal Like You” by everclear: The cover band I perform in plays a song by Everclear called Santa Monica which I like a bunch. This song seems more hard driving and not sure I would recognize it as Everclear if I heard it randomly out of context. The song has all the 90’s sonic stylings. It is powerful. Towards the end I started to hear sounds that reminded me more of the everclear in my mind. Over and out.
everclear – Normal Like You
I think this is a band I avoided (for no apparent reason – see Oasis). I like this track – a Green Day feel. Little percussive additions give it that something extra.
Note: Have been thinking on Ian’s suggestion to name an album where you don’t skip a song. While I have a good number of them. I haven’t yet landed on the “one.”
