  1. G. Love & Special Sauce – Cold Beverage
I certainly remember this from back in the day (and thoroughly enjoying it). Listening to it fresh, it strikes me that the music is very much like what Gang of Four and XTC were doing in the late 70s to early 80s. This certainly emphasizes the beat. G. Love came out of the gate strong. A thirst quencher.

  2. “Cold Beverage”/G. Love and Special Sauce. I’d call it live hip-hop, ’90s style. Fun and funky. I like the slinky guitar playing.

  3. G Love- I don’t remember if I submitted this song but I love this jam so I will risk repetition in favor of fandom. There is something both punky and funky about this tune that is infectious. The punkiness for me is in the pure energy and laissez-faire approach that is open and whimsical, which some may read as sloppy. It also just oozes a hot summer day. I used to see G Love in the little city park that I took my kids to when they were little as he had youngins then. He seemed like a fun dad.

  4. “Cold Beverage” by G. Love & Special Sauce. Love this track. Fun to hear again; it has been too long. Do believe it has been submitted before which is perfectly fine.
